AdminNinja
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of DropBadge. They explain what the service does, what you are responsible for when using attendee data, how one-time unlock payments work, and the limits on AdminNinja's liability.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using DropBadge, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of the service
DropBadge is a web-based tool that helps event organizers format badge data and export print-ready PDF files from user-supplied CSV files. During normal use, badge content is processed locally in the browser, while payment confirmation is handled through Stripe and related server-side unlock verification.
3. Eligibility and permitted use
You may use DropBadge only if you can enter into a binding agreement and your use complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party rights.
You agree not to:
- use the service for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing purposes;
- upload or process data you do not have the right to use;
- attempt to interfere with, disrupt, probe, or bypass the service or payment flow;
- copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or exploit the software except as allowed by law; or
- use the service in a way that could damage AdminNinja, Stripe, or other users.
4. Your responsibilities for attendee data
You are solely responsible for the attendee data, badge text, and other content you process using DropBadge. You represent and warrant that you have all rights, notices, permissions, and legal bases needed to use that data for badge production.
You are also responsible for reviewing badge previews, print settings, printer calibration, spelling, and exported output before production or distribution.
5. Local browser storage and session behavior
DropBadge uses browser storage to preserve draft badge sessions, selected options, calibration settings, and paid unlock state across refreshes. Because this state is stored locally on your device, clearing browser data, changing browsers or devices, using private browsing, or starting a new import session may affect your ability to resume prior work or access a prior unlock.
You are responsible for exporting and safeguarding your final PDF and for using a secure device.
6. Fees, payment, and unlock terms
DropBadge currently offers a one-time unlock fee of USD $12 for the applicable paid export flow, unless a different price is displayed at checkout. All payments are processed by Stripe.
A successful payment grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the paid export functionality made available through the corresponding DropBadge session. The unlock is delivered digitally and maintained through local browser state. Importing a new attendee list or removing local browser state may end that unlocked session.
Except where required by law or expressly stated in our Refund Policy, fees are non-refundable.
7. Third-party services
DropBadge relies on third-party providers, including Stripe, hosting services, and browser or device features outside our control. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their separate terms, privacy notices, outages, or failures.
8. Intellectual property
As between you and AdminNinja, you retain ownership of your attendee data and badge content. AdminNinja and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in DropBadge, including the software, design, branding, and related intellectual property.
We grant you a limited, revocable license to access and use the service for your internal event operations in accordance with these Terms.
9. Availability, changes, and suspension
We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue all or part of DropBadge at any time, with or without notice. We may also suspend or block access if we believe your use violates these Terms, creates risk, or could harm the service or others.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
DropBadge is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. AdminNinja disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or results meeting your specific event, printing, or compliance needs.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AdminNinja and its affiliates, owners, operators, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, customers, or opportunities arising out of or related to your use of DropBadge.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of AdminNinja for any and all claims arising out of or related to DropBadge will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to AdminNinja for DropBadge in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) USD $12.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AdminNinja and its affiliates, owners, operators, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your content, your event data, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted on this page unless a later date is stated.
